About Gooeyz Gooeyz is a fast causal restaurant and full bar, dripping with sophisticated silly. The kitchen is fast, but we are "Lazy Casual". Gooeyz is famous for amazing stacked high melt sandwiches, overflowing with cheese gooeying out every side, and original tastes that smother you in every bite. Everything is wholesome and crazy fresh. Whenever possible, we buy Ohio products, fresh from our neighbor’s farms and local sources. Come in, grab something to eat, and hang out anytime of the day. We are open at 11am for lunch, dinner, and until 3am for fourth meal. Gooeyz has live music or entertainment at least four nights a week. The Gooeyz Story One blustery, January morning of 2010, Dave woke on a mission. He wanted, no needed, a big + beautiful sandwich that would make his grilled cheese dreams come true. The problem was, there was no one to call. There was no place to get it. As he screamed in agony, his wife Lanne tossed a skillet at him, and told him to stop talking - and get cooking. Together they went and made beautiful music in the kitchen (and a couple sandwiches), and out popped the first gooeyz melt sandwich. Man, was it amazing. Two days later, an inspired Dave sold his business, and the duo started to work on Gooeyz. Dave and Lanne worked as a team on every aspect of this experience; hand in hand from concept development, to menu, to what cool bands will be energizing it nightly. The result is a place that screams their personalities from head to toe - lazy casual, sophisticated silly, with a high energy good time by all. You know when it’s Gooeyz - where everything is super cheesy.
